Dr. I. Dix Winston III
Dr. Dix Winston has been in full time ministry since 1975. He served three years with Campus Crusade for Christ. Wanting to better equip himself for a teaching ministry he attended and graduated (1978-1982) from Dallas Theological Seminary where he earned his Masters of Theology. It was also at DTS that he met his wife, the former Cynthia Blum whom he married upon graduation. He served two years as an associate pastor of Grace Church in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He left Grace Church in 1983 to found Trinity Bible Church in Owensboro, KY. Dix and Cynthia left Kentucky in 1985 to begin Search Ministries in Colorado, as well as to teach Walk Thru the Bible Seminars. He served as the Colorado director of Search until 1998 when he founded his current ministry, Impact, which disciples adults in evangelism and apologetics and the Bible. It was also in 1998 that he began teaching an adult Bible Class at Cherry Hills Community Church. In 2005 Dix completed his Doctorate of Ministry in Apologetics from Southern Evangelical Seminary where he graduated Summa Cum Laude. He, along with a core group of individuals founded Crosspoint Community Church in January of 2012 where he serves as Senior Pastor. Dix and Cynthia have one son, Austin who is a 2nd Lieutenant in the United States Army. When not attending to ministry matters, Dix more than enjoys golf and riding motorcycles with Cynthia.
Pastor Michael Brown is from the oldest town in Texas, Nacogdoches. His grandparents were his introduction to church and were a major influence in his life and future relationship with God. His grandparents provided a Godly model for faithful marriage and servant leadership. On several occasions, he would accompany his grandparents to deliver meals as they evangelized their community. It’s no coincidence Mark 10:45 is a hallmark of my life. Pastor Michael accepted his call to ministry in 2003 and with continued guidance from his Senior Pastor, God provided an opportunity for him to receive theological training. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theology with an Emphasis on leadership from the College of Biblical Studies-Houston and a Master of Theology Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary – Houston. Pastor Michael has been married to his college sweetheart for 17 years and they are blessed with four boys; Michael Jr. 13, Christopher 11, Isaiah 5, and Jonathan Paul 2 months.
