Pastor Michael Brown is from the oldest town in Texas, Nacogdoches. His grandparents were his introduction to church and were a major influence in his life and future relationship with God. His grandparents provided a Godly model for faithful marriage and servant leadership. On several occasions, he would accompany his grandparents to deliver meals as they evangelized their community. Pastor Michael believes it is no coincidence Mark 10:45 is a hallmark of his life. Pastor Michael accepted his call to ministry in 2003 and with continued guidance from his Senior Pastor, God provided an opportunity for him to receive theological training. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Theology with an Emphasis on leadership from the College of Biblical Studies-Houston and a Master of Theology Degree from Dallas Theological Seminary – Houston. Pastor Michael has been married to his college sweetheart for 17 years and they are blessed with four boys; Michael Jr. 13, Christopher 11, Isaiah 5, and Jonathan Paul 2 months.
Children’s Ministry Director
Born deep into ministry with parents that were Pastors and Missionaries, Jesus has always been the very center of Eunice’s life. Having to move around to places all around the world may have seemed difficult but it was all those experiences that shaped and molded her heart to serve.
The most impactful of these places was Kenya. Going to a missionary kids’ boarding school and serving along side her parents deep in the Masai lands while on break, gave Eunice the love for serving children.
Now with young children of her own, she is seeing the desperate need for Jesus in our children’s lives, especially in today’s society.
Having served in children’s ministry in churches from a young age, Eunice is following God’s calling in her life and passionately serving the amazing children of Crosspoint Community Church.
Having grown up in a musical family, Rebecca pursued a career in ‘cello and vocal performance, eventually attending the University of Denver after being awarded the Boettcher Scholarship. However, following one year of school, she transferred to Wheaton College and Conservatory in order to find answers to some of her questions about worldview and faith in God. While there, she realized that her pursuit of musical excellence for the sake of music itself was vanity, and she resolved to shift her focus towards using the tool of music to bring glory to God alone. She returned to the University of Denver and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Music Education. Since then, she has directed musicals for Christian Youth Theater, Audience of One Theater, and Front Range Christian School, and has been the worship arts director at numerous churches. She has three children and one step-daughter, and is married to Dan Sarian, the Elementary Principal at Front Range Christian School. She is honored to lead worship at Crosspoint and to serve with such a great team. Soli Deo Gloria!
